Cancellation & Return Policy

How corporate customers can end a PremioGuard subscription, reduce machine-license seats, and what happens at the end of a billing period. Because the agent is an instantly downloadable digital executable, there are no physical goods to return.

1. Introduction

PremioGuard is endpoint device control, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and system security software delivered by subscription. When you purchase a PremioGuard licence you are subscribing to management-console access and the right to install the PremioGuard Windows agent on an allotted number of enrolled computers. This policy explains how to end a subscription, how machine-license seats can be reduced, and why physical returns do not apply.

2. Subscription Cancellation Lifecycle

You may cancel your PremioGuard subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future automatic renewals; it does not erase your account or delete data we are required to retain for tax, legal, or security-incident purposes. Access to the management console and the enrolled agents continues until the end of the current paid period.

How to cancel: Sign in to the PremioGuard console as an account administrator, open Settings → Billing → Subscription, and toggle Cancel automatic renewal. The change is immediate and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fee applies.
  • Monthly subscribers: auto-renewal stops; service continues through the end of the current month.
  • Yearly subscribers: auto-renewal stops; service continues through the end of the current annual term.
  • Trial accounts: may be allowed to lapse without action; no charge is applied unless a paid plan is activated.

3. Digital Software "Returns"

PremioGuard is an instantly downloadable digital agent executable binary string. The Windows agent installer, the management web panel credentials, and the licence key are delivered electronically the moment a purchase is completed. Because there is no physical item to ship, inspect, or send back, physical product returns do not apply to PremioGuard subscriptions or machine-license allotments.

The 7-day sandbox trial described on our pricing page exists so you can evaluate the agent on your own fleet before committing to a paid subscription. We encourage every prospective customer to complete that trial before purchasing.

4. Enterprise Allocation Adjustment

If your organisation needs fewer active computer licences than your current plan allots — for example after decommissioning endpoints or right-sizing a fleet — an account administrator may reduce the active seat count before the next automatic monthly or yearly recurring payment invoice run.

  • When to adjust: at least 3 business days before your next invoice date, so the reduced count is reflected on the upcoming payment.
  • How to adjust: in the console, go to Settings → Licences → Seats, enter the lower target count, and confirm. Removed seats are deactivated on the enrolled computers you select.
  • Effective date: the reduction takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle; you are not credited mid-cycle for seats removed before a period ends.
  • Minimum commitment: some annual enterprise plans carry a minimum seat commitment for the term; the console will flag any reduction that breaches it before you confirm.

5. What Happens at the End of a Billing Period

When a cancelled subscription reaches the end of its paid period:

  • Automatic renewal does not occur, and no further payment is collected.
  • Agent installations remain on enrolled computers but policy updates and console management cease.
  • Your account and fleet configuration are retained for 90 days so you can reactivate without re-enrolling endpoints.
  • After 90 days of inactivity, fleet data may be subject to retention pruning as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Reactivation and Re-subscription

You may reactivate a cancelled subscription at any time from the console billing page, provided your account remains in good standing. Reactivation restores automatic renewal at the plan rate in effect at the time of reactivation, which may differ from your original rate if pricing has changed in the interim.

7. Questions and Cancellation Requests

If you cannot cancel through the console, or need help reducing your seat count, contact PremioGuard support at contact@premioguard.com. Include your organisation name, account email, and the number of seats you wish to retain.
