Download the Installer

Download the PremioGuard installer (.exe) from your dashboard. The file is signed and verified — Windows SmartScreen will confirm the publisher.

Run & Activate

Run the installer as Administrator. Enter your license key when prompted. The agent installs as a Windows service and starts immediately.

You're Protected

USB storage devices are now blocked. Try plugging in a flash drive — you'll see the authorization prompt. Keyboards and mice continue working normally.

Registers a Windows Service
The PremioGuard agent runs as a system service (LocalSystem) that starts automatically with Windows. No user login required for protection to be active.
Sets Up WMI Event Watchers
WMI permanent event subscriptions are registered to detect USB device arrivals and removals at the kernel level — no polling, no performance hit.
Creates a Named Pipe Channel
A secure named pipe connects the background service to the user-facing notification process. No open TCP ports are created on your machine.
Installs a Watchdog Process
A lightweight watchdog monitors the main agent and restarts it automatically if it is terminated — intentionally or otherwise.
Nothing Else
PremioGuard does not install browser extensions, toolbars, third-party software, or any component unrelated to USB security. The uninstaller removes everything cleanly.

Code-Signed Executable

The installer is digitally signed. Windows will display the verified publisher name during installation. Never run an unsigned version.

No Antivirus Conflicts

PremioGuard is designed to coexist with Windows Defender and major third-party AV solutions. It hooks WMI, not the AV driver stack.

Encrypted Communications

All traffic between the agent and the PremioGuard servers uses HTTPS/TLS 1.2+. License responses are additionally signed with RSA-2048.

Clean Uninstall

The uninstaller removes the service, watchdog, WMI subscriptions, registry keys, and all application files. Nothing is left behind.
