These depend on your plan

Antivirus, application control, website filtering, download restrictions, and dangerous-link protection are professional-plan features. If your plan does not include them, they are not running on your machines and cannot be enabled from the dashboard.

What each one does

Each addresses a different route by which a machine becomes a problem.

• Antivirus — detects malicious files on your managed machines and alerts you.
• Application control — decides which programs may run, so unwanted software cannot be installed.
• Website filtering — blocks categories of sites by policy rather than relying on individuals to avoid them.
• Download restrictions — controls which file types may be downloaded, closing a common malware route.
• Dangerous-link protection — warns on links known to be unsafe, in email and in the browser.

Trusted applications

Where application control is active, software you have decided to allow is added to a trusted list. Check how many you are allowed by your plan — there is a limit, and it is a good signal of which plan you need.
